A Prayer....

Lord, bless each of my gardening friends
who share their crops with me.
Their veggies help me dress my salad
oh, so colorfully!
I love the fresh green peppers
and tomatoes, firm and red.
Lord, bless their homes, their hands, their hearts
for keeping me well-fed.

(And don't forget roasted veggies either......When you roast meat in the oven- chop up some carrots, onions, green, red,&/or yellow bell peppers and celery(I know- I hate celery but trust me- this is DELISH!!!!!!), throw them in the pan with the meat, sprinkle with some salt and pepper, and roast it all at the same time.

It's what I had for Tea(dinner) yesterday and I had THREE helpings of the veggies!!! I love veggies, and will sometimes have seconds, but third helpings are VERY unusual for me to do. I just couldn't resist they were so good!!!!!!

Normally I LOVE fresh veggies from the garden...but since I got pregnant baby carrots are about the only thing I can stomach...sad right?
