Having a Laugh.....

These are the instructions my darling husband sent me-(Hopefully, as a laugh, cause I REALLLY don't see much of this going on MY to-do list!!) for Jeff's Care (Our remaining Guinea Piggie) for the weekend while he's away at his parents home.

Funny guy.....My responses to him are in Red...

I'll buy a bag of pre-mixed salad for him. It's small handful of nuggets, handful of salad and just make sure there's fresh hay in the cage at all times
Walk him at least twice a day and make sure he doesn't miss Downton Abbey or he'll throw a strop.

Don't give him any pieces of hay longer than 4" or shorter that 2.6"

Yeah- I can do the nuggets and hay and salad. He can also watch Downton with me-but I'm dragging the entire cage over so he can see the TV- I'm not picking the bitey little rascal up.
Evian water, exactly 7 degrees celcius.

Don't give him Perrier or the store brand, he will know and throw a tantrum.
*Raised Eyebrow* I drink tap water- so will Jeff.
He won't go to sleep unless you read 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' to him.

Anything by Doctor Seuss will also do
I'll read the Samuel Jackson Bedtime Book to him.....Or Steven King.

No matter how much he begs, don't let him watch Doctor Who. The Cyber-men freak him out and he won't go to sleep

Oh, and don't get him wet or feed him after midnight

Doctor Who Marathon it is!!! As for the get him wet or feed him thing- I've seen the movie- No worries there.
His stylist will be there early Saturday, so Enrique will take care of his baths and grooming.

Owwwwwwww- Enrique????

*If he turns out to be a gay hair-stylist, he can take me shopping.
Have a GREAT weekend!!!

Smell-A-Vision.......

You know, Dieting would be a LOT easier if I had no sense of smell whatsoever.

The most seemingly inconsequential smells set off my appetite.

Like buttered Toast...

Sage...

Vanilla....

Oranges...

mixed spice...

Cinnamon...

Coffee...

Bacon...

Turkey...

Fresh Bread from The oven...

Popcorn...

And what is with all the food ads on the tele? OMG...It's horrible. Thank God it's only visual and not Smell-a-vision.

I refuse to watch cooking shows anymore. Not because it looks appetizing...but because I look at the things they make and say "I can do it one better"!!! And then it's all I can think about until I go and prove that I can.

Disgusting.
