So today is my double shift day.
Working 16 hours, drive home 1 hour and 20 minutes, shower, sleep a couple hours, then drive the 1hr 20 min back to work another 8 hours.
Thinking I might just sleep in the car in the parking lot and get more sleep and save gas....not to mention not driving that long trip on country roads with only two hours sleep.

I slept on the floor at O'Hare airport a few weeks back. If I can do that, you can sleep in your car.
Truth- OMG is that not the most uncomfortable place to sleep ever?????? I had a layover at O'Hare for 2 days the 2nd visit home from England. Didn't sleep on the floor but was in the chair.... they need BENCH seating in airports. At least SOME. I ended up driving home though- got 3.5 hours sleep then drove back and just got here for my morning shift. Maybe the boss will take pity and let me slide out an hour early today- but if not I got all weekend to recover. Well, after laundry and sweeping, mopping and Hoovering the entire house. And I'd like to give Maggie a good clean too.
