Two Weeks Away.......

Things are heating up hot and heavy in S.C. with the political ads....and so far I've seen PLENTY of Mud-Slinging from McCain, but not a single ugly one from Obama.

That says a LOT in my book.

I've pretty much made up my mind about who I'm going to vote for.

It'll either be Obama- OR I'll do a write in for Hilary.

Or Maybe Seacat. She'd make a pretty good President- but then again- we'd have a heck of a time keeping her on point with the presidential duties with the grounds of the White House there for her to photograph.....

I really dislike McCain. I don't get a vote but if i did - it wouldn't be for him. He sexist and has some arcaic views.

Does he really think overturning Roe vs Wade would stop people having abortions? No. It would just force them into illegal backstreet clinics they way they used to. Oh, and those law abiding citizens that wouldn't do that, would be stuck with a kid they either a)didn't want, or b)couldn't afford.....and those that can't afford the child they were forced to have, would then be a bigger burden on the economy by having to claim benefits.

The healthcare plan he has just sucks, and his repeated stance on voting against equal pay for women just aggravates me.

I tell you, to say I don't ave a vote, I sure have opinions!!

Kelly, you made some good points there...but I think you missed the biggest one...

Getting an abortion is no-one's goddamn business except the pregnant person and her doctor.

I have my own views on abortion...but my main view is that I don't, and shouldn't, get a say in whether someone I don't know should be allowed to get an abortion or not.

Abortion, raising kids, 'morality' etc, etc has nothing to do with government and should not be legislated on.

Paulius - I agree with you wholeheartedly, i was simply trying to put across the points that would (potentially) hold weight in a political arena....

Personally, i'm pro choice. It's my body dammit, don;t tell me what I can or can't do!
