No New Years Resloutions.

For the first time ever- I didn't officially make ANY New Years Resolutions.
I have no expectations or hopes or dreams to have to live up to.
I'm just trying to take it one day at a time, one hour at a time, one minute at a time.

Did you make any resolutions?

My kids kept asking me the same question and didn't believe me when I said that I didn't make any resolutions.

"Why," asked one?

"You've got to make one," said the other.

"I can't. You see, several years back, I made a resolution not to make any more new years resolutions. It's the only one that I've really kept, and I've kept it for several years now."

"Oh. That's COOL!"

Resolutions set you up for failure. Why make yourself feel like a failure when what you really want to feel is loved, accepted and appreciated by everyone ... including yourself?

No resolutions allowed in this house.

Hugs to Sunny and happy new year!

Yes I did...to relax. I stress too much and Ive vowed to relax some. Live one day at a time. Doubt I can keep it though :).Worrying seems ingrained in my DNA.

My resolution is to make no resolution. I guess I am somewhat defeating the purpose of making no resolutions being that I have actually made a resolution to not make resolutions.

Oh well.

Here's to 2008!

May you find comfort, peace and know that all around you love and appreciate you!

Happy New Year, Sunny!

I didn't make a resolution but I did make a lifestyle change, which I will hopefully turn *into* a lifestyle ;)

I don't think resolutions should be reserved for Jan. 1st exclusively, but should honestly be made year-round, as required. :)
