OMG- Our computer sounds like a freaking weed-eater!!
Why is it making this sound? Not ALL the time- but for just part of the time we have it on.
It's driving me freaking INSANE listening to it!!!!
Quiet!!! I need QUIETness in a computer!!!! I can't concentrate to write with a blender buzzing beside me.
ARG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a fan is going bad.
That might very well be.....we have the thing on at least 12 out of every 24 hours.
And it's been on downloading a few things for 24 hours a day for the past few days til yesterday.
We go thru computers like most people go thru socks.
Sigh......
Probably is the fan. Better get it fixed soon, cause if it overheats, it shuts down, and you can not turn it on again.
Had to get our computer fixed after it did that very same thing!
There's nothing wrong with the computer. All the fans are working perfectly and I even dusted out the inside less than two weeks ago.
The truth is, it's currently Sunny's 'special time', which means she's capable of flipping out and getting annoyed by anything.
(last month it was the aquarium filter)
It is freaking NOT my special time and yes the computer IS making a god-awful noise off and on!!!!
It may not be the fan but it's SOMETHING making it sound like a damn blender/weedwhacker!!!
It's not normally making that noise!!!
